Patrick Kane, (pictured above), is one of the best players to ever put on a Blackhawks uniform. Kane has been apart of all three Hawks championships, and scored the dagger goal in a 2-0 cup clinching victory over the Lightning back in June. Fast forward to August 1st, 45 days removed from a Stanley Cup win, and one late night at a local club in his hometown, could this dynasty be on the brink of demise?

On August 1st, 2015 Chicago Blackhawks star forward Patrick Kane was out late at a local rooftop club named Sky Bar. Kane was having a good time when he met up with a group of people. They proceeded to take a few shots and then Kane invited them back to his house. Then at around 4 am, one of the girls that had went to the house with Kane called a relative, stating that she had been raped by Kane. Raped? Lets look deeper into this.

The accuser, a former cheerleader at the University of Buffalo, claims that the star forward followed her into a room where she had gone alone, and then overpowered her and raped her. After the alleged incident happened her and her friends left and she called a relative. Sources have also stated that the girl has scratch marks, along with bite marks which she obtained from the alleged incident. So far that is the only evidence that anything happened between the two. No charges have been filed against Kane so with so little evidence and no charges being filed, how could you not be on the side of the star forward? The accuser alleges that she did not even want to go to Kanes home with him, but her friend wanted to and she did not want to make her go alone. But according to an off-duty cop, who Kane has emplyed to drive for him, there was a mutual agreement amongst them all to go there. Also, according to the owner of Sky Bar, the girl was “all over” and flirting with Kane the same night that he apparently raped her. So if those two statements there don’t set off alarms for you this one might. According to sources close to the case, the friends of Kanes accuser are already asking for a 1-2 million dollar settlement from Kane. Also, the accuser apparently met up with friends before going to the club and took molly. Now I’m only here to form opinions, but with everything many have said against the girl, and the low amount of evidence presented so far, I’d say this is just another case in which an athlete was in the wrong plaace at the wrong time, and is getting accused of something he did not do. But I’ll leave that up to you to decide. For now, it.s safe to say we will be seeing the star foward suit up again next year for the Hawks.
