First off, I apologize for my lack of coverage of Bears-Packers this weekend.    Believe me I watched, just spend most time drunk and not near a computer in Las Vegas.   That being said, onto business.

Nearly two games into the season,  I am not sure if we can say if Ryan Pace has any idea what the hell he is doing as general manager yet.   Pernell McPhee made no impact versus Green Bay.  The seconday misses Tim Jennings and Ryan Mundy, his roster and gameday management of the roster have been awful and why the hell is Chicago the only team in NFL history to carry 10 linebackers?    Pace trying to make up for some roster deficiencies today signed former Titan, Cowboy, and Raider in defensive end Lavar Edwards.   Edwards has appeared in 11 games as pro since being drafted in the 5th round by Tennessee in 2013 and has 10 tackles and 1 pass breakup.   He played his college ball at LSU.  The guess here is he will fill the void of Cornelius Washington on special teams and backup role on defense.  Washington was placed on IR after the Packer game with a quad injury.   Even though he would only miss around a month, Pace deemed he didn’t want to wait, ending his season.
