3 cups. 6 seasons. A Dynasty in their own right.
The Chicago Blackhawks have been absolutely dominant throughout the last few years and will hopefully continue with as much success in the upcoming season; as training camp is set to start this week. However, a big part of that success has been credited to the Hawks’ core guys: Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook, Crawford, Sharp, Oduya, and Hjalmarsson. Without whom, those championships might not have been possible.
Looking back at the offseason, the Blackhawks said goodbye to Patrick Sharp, Johnny Oduya, Brad Richards, Kris Versteeg, and most notably, Brandon Saad.
Most of these guys have been with the Hawks for some time now and have greatly impacted each season they have been a part of. So how will the team fare without some of their key players? With training camp coming up, it’ll be the first look into what the new season is going to bring.
The Blackhawks have also brought in Ryan Haggerty, Artem Anisimov, Andrew Desjardins (resigned), Trevor Daley, and Ryan Garbutt. Hopefully, they can develop some kind of chemistry with the Hawks returning players and bring home cup number seven this season.
