The Bears defense has a lot of holes.   Ryan Pace and John Fox are cognizant of that so they are bringing in one of Fox’s former players.  Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reported the recently released Mitch Unrein is flying to Chicago to sign with the Bears.    Unrein played for the Houston Texans in his rookie year in 2010 out of Wyoming.  He then spent the next 4 years in Denver playing under Fox.   At the start of this year he found himself with the Chargers, who released him due to a roster numbers crunch at other positions.  Unrein has 49 career tackles and 1 touchdown in his career and is a 6’4” 305lb defensive lineman.   He should help immediately as the Bears still have Jeremiah Ratliff suspended for 1 more game and face Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks this week.     No corresponding roster move has been announced yet with the signing of Unrein.
