That’s right! One of our favorite Blackhawks players, Patrick Kane, is on track as a favorite for winning the Hart Trophy. On Tuesday, December 2, 2015, Kane extended his point streak to 20 games this season! According to Bovada’s updated odds to win the Hart Trophy for league MVP, Kane is a frontrunner with 2-1 odds.
Kane currently leads the NHL in points with 38! He has 23 assists, 8 power play goals and is averaging a league-best 1.52 points per game. After and not so stellar off season filled with drama and accusations, it is great to see Kane in the spotlight for the right reasons again.
As I mentioned previously, Kane extended his point streak to 20 games on Tuesday—getting him closer and closer to tying Bobby Hull for the longest point streak in Blackhawks history. However, it did extend his record for longest point streak by an American-born player, which was previously held by Eddie Olczyk and Phil Kessel at 18 games.

After his embarrassing offseason, Kane has come out a winner. His point streak continues and it seems like he has turned a new page in his off ice antics so far this season.
