You heard it right—Blackhawks Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane stand strong at the first and second most sold NHL jerseys in 2015! I mean, did you expect anything less? I didn’t think so. Toews and Kane remain the NHL’s most popular duo to this day. Although, with his recent playing, could Panarin take that spot with Kane after this year for favorite duo? Probably not—Toews and Kane have been together through it all. The league announced Friday that the two ranked in at number one and two in jersey sales for 2015—they even finished in the top five in 2014.

Here is a look at the Top 10 list of the highest selling jerseys in 2015:

  1. Jonathan Toews – Blackhawks
  2. Patrick Kane – Blackhawks
  3. Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers
  4. Alex Ovechkin – Washington Capitals
  5. Sidney Crosby – Pittsburgh Penguins
  6. Patrice Bergeron – Boston Bruins
  7. Zach Parise – Minnesota Wild
  8. Carey Price – Montreal Canadiens
  9. Ryan McDonagh – New York Rangers
  10. Connor McDavid – Edmonton Oilers

The Chicago Blackhawks saw success immediately with Toews and Kane who helped to resurrect hockey in Chicago. And, this last summer, they helped lead the Blackhawks to their third Stanley Cup in six years! In their careers, both Toews and Kane have received the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP and were each named to the NHL All-Star game for the fifth time last week (although some other Blackhawks players were majorly snubed).

This season, Kane leads the NHL in points with 60 and is on pace to become the first American-born player to win the Art Ross Trophy for most points during the regular season. He could also be the first American-born player to win the Hart Trophy as league MVP—quite the season so far after a far from stellar offseason. And, this season, Toews leads the league in overtime wins with four, which is also a franchise record.

With half a season still to play, Toews and Kane are set to do even more amazing things with the Chicago Blackhawks and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
