The Chicago Bears stayed inside the organization in their search for a new offensive coordinator in Dowell Loggains.   Loggains was the quarterbacks coach this past season for the Bears and as long as Adam Gase did not take him with him to Miami (which he did not), he was the most logical choice to replace Gase.   Loggains has experience as an offensive coordinator before as he was the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator from 2012 to 2013, working with immortal quarterbacks such has Jake Locker, Ryan Fitzpatrick, & Matt Hasselbeck.   Loggains served as quarterbacks coach for the Cleveland Browns in 2014.

Loggains worked well with Jay Cutler this past season as he threw for 3,659 yards, 21 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and he has recorded a career-high quarterback rating of 92.3.   Loggains worked tirelessly with Cutler on his footwork and protecting the ball and hopefully those philosophies blend into his play calling as well because as long as Cutler is not turning the ball over, the Bears have a chance.   I do not have crystal ball in front of me but the offensive talent the Bears put on the field in 2015 will far outweigh anything he has to work with in Tennessee & Cleveland so hopefully he can take what Gase started and run with it.
