That’s right ladies and gentlemen! The Chicago Blackhawks meet the St. Louis Blues in Round 1 of the Playoffs as you probably already know and will begin the series on the road. This will be Chicago’s eighth consecutive appearance in the postseason when they face the St. Louis Blues in the best-of-seven First Round series beginning with Game 1 in St. Louis on Wednesday, April 13th.

Here is the schedule for the First Round Blackhawks vs. Blues:

Game 1: Wednesday, April 13th at 8:30 p.m. in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center

Game 2: Friday, April 15th at 7 p.m. in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center

Game 3: Sunday, April 17th at 2 p.m. in Chicago at the United Center

Game 4: Tuesday, April 19th at 8:30 p.m. in Chicago at the United Center

Game 5*: Thursday, April 21st TBD in St. Louis

Game 6*: Saturday, April 23rd TBD in Chicago

Game 7*: Monday, April 25th TBD in St. Louis

 

*Note that Games 5, 6 and 7 are only if necessary.

A Look Back at the Regular Season

The Chicago Blackhawks finished the 2015-16 regular season with a 47-26-9 record and 103 points. This earned them the third seed in the NHL Central Division and their eight consecutive season in the Stanley Cup Playoffs since 1990-97, which is currently the third-longest active postseason appearance streak.

In the regular season, the Blackhawks posted a 2-0-3 record against St. Louis and it marks the 12th Stanley Cup Playoff matchup between Chicago and the Blues with Chicago winning their most recent series in the 2014 Western Conference First Round 4-2.
