With a 105-89 victory over the Sixers, the Chicago Bulls have improved their record to 10-6 and currently sit as the 4th seed in the eastern conference. The Bulls have gotten off to a good start this season due in part because of their improved team defense which is allowing 99.7 ppg which is 9th best in the league right now. Chicago is also the second best rebounding team in the league averaging 49.1 rpg. The front court of Taji Gibson and Robin Lopez are doing a good job of patrolling the paint, while 6th man Nikola Mirotic brings the scoring punch off the bench. Rajon Rondo has brought his court vision and high basketball IQ to the team, along with his championship pedigree.

While the Bulls role players have elevated their play, Chicago will only go as far as their Dynamic Duo will take them. Dwayne Wade at the age of 34 has added an effective three-point shot to his already smooth offensive game. Wade is averaging 18.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg while shooting a career high 38.8% from behind the arc. The Bulls are getting great play from Dwayne Wade, but Jimmy Butler  has elevated his game from Star to Superstar. Butler is averaging a career high 25.8 ppg on 48% from the field and a career high 42.3% from 3. Butler has elevated his game every year that he has been in the league and this year he has transcended into a Superstar. It is a long season but Bulls fans have to be encouraged by the start of the team and should look for the team to be in playoff contention all year.  The Bulls next game will be played on November 30th 8:00 pm eastern against the Los Angeles Lakers.
