The Fire’s winning streak continues with the men in red beating New England. Chicago Fire’s away form hasn’t been as great as their home form, but it didn’t stop them from getting a 2-1 win against New England. The men in red are currently in the best form compared to how they’ve been in the past few years. Fire haven’t lost their past 8 matches and by beating New England this Saturday, they are now sitting in first place. Nemanja Nikolic scoring his 13th goal of the season is still the golden boot leader and Luis Solignac still seems to amaze us. What’s next for the Fire? Fans were left happy on their feet after this fantastic win and hopefully, now the men in red have left their fans believing in them. Fire’s front office spent their entire offseason fighting for improvement and continue to fight for the club to be the best and we’ve noticed the change. However, Bastian Schweinsteiger wasn’t the last player the Fire will be bringing to the club this season. There have been rumors that the 31-year-old Polish midfielder, Jakub Blaszczykowski who left Dortmund last year to join Wolfsburg, has Chicago Fire chasing after him to sign him. This addition will bring great help and improvement to the midfield. The Fire isn’t finished improving the team, there’s still spots to fill, but the club as a whole has been playing phenomenal. As of today, looking at the Fire’s current gameplay, it seems they won’t stop competing and improving their team until they have a second championship under their name.
