Former second round, 40th pick, Diamond Stone has signed a partially guaranteed two-year deal with the Chicago Bulls. Stone didn’t play many games for the clippers but averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds in the few games he played in the G League. This adds some front court depth for the Bulls. Signing Felicio and Stone gives the Bulls some youth at the center position. This is good in case the Bulls decide to move Robin Lopez in order to move his contract off the books. Or even just in adding more youth to the rebuild. Diamond Stone will probably spend some time playing for the Windy City Bulls in the G League this season which should help further his progression into a nice big men for the Bulls. However, if the Bulls decide to give him significant minutes, it won’t lead to many wins but can help aid the Bulls in receiving a high draft pick this year.
