What else can I say besides let’s go. After a huge win tonight the Cubs are building a confident lead on their rival Brew Crew:

Trailing in the 9th, Javy; clutch as always, delivered big time for the Cubs tying the game further opening their eyes towards October. But that was not the end, Wade Davis put in a tough spot, bases loaded 1 out, striking out Santana and forcing a ground ball to Arcia, it was the cubs turn. Right away Jon Jay’s season was shown off big time when he doubled to center to kick off the 10th. Then stepped in MVP KB, nothing less than anyone expected, he went deep to center. Up 2, we headed to the bottom half of the 10th where Davis would strike out the side, once again “saving” the Cubs from loss (Shocker).

6. The Magic Number is 6. With that win the number was lowered to six which means if the Cubs sweep, we could be Central Champions on Sunday. Less than a month out and already you can feel the playoff atmosphere coming from tonight’s game. The Cubs are rolling and there is no stopping them. If they can get past the Brewers, the gates to October will be wide open.

The Cubs have never settled for good, and they are proving that a good season is not good enough for them. They knew this was not going to be easy, and it certainly has not been.

John Lackey takes the mound again coming off his outrageous actions last weekend. This might be the spark they needed. To fire up the engines for the final push, giving whatever they have into going far in the playoffs.

I am ready.

The fans are ready.

The players are ready.

Chicago is ready.

Let’s Fly that W all the way through October, and then some. Playoff baseball is right around the corner and the Cubs are on the path right towards it.

Let’s Roll.
