The losing streak may have been broken as Chicago Fire drew at home 1-1 against Rivals Columbus Crew, but to many it was a loss. The match was fairly close but the Crew had made more out of the chances having 6/12 shots in target. Meanwhile the Fire has 3/11. Crew also held 53.9% possession, Fire held 46.1%. With both have the same pass succession.

But what left fans in disappointment was the men in red managing to lose hold of the three points. Chicago Fires Nemanja Nikolic had scored in the 67’ putting the Fire up by 1. With many left with the excitement of having their first win in 8 season matches (9 counting all competitions). But Chicago were unlucky and conceded a goal in the 87’ by Crews Niko Hansen.

Putting all this to the side, they played a good game and managedto break their 8 game losing streak.

Chicago Fire will be hoping to receive 3 points at Home Sunday, September 16 against Orlando City. But first Bastian Schweinsteiger  and the Fire will be traveling to Germany to Face Bastians former club Bayern Munich, where he spent 17 seasons.

Chicago Fire will face Bayern Munich in a friendly to reunite the Bayern legend with his childhood club. The two will face off at 1:30 PM central time.
