The Time for Coby White is NOW

As the season continues to move forward, the Bulls continue to fall behind. Playoff hopes are diminishing, and time is running out.

The season may not have been what fans were hoping for, but there can still be some things that can benefit this team for the future. One of the biggest things that need to take action as soon as possible is to make Coby White a starter.

White has been a great spark off the bench this year for the Bulls. He is currently leading all rookies in 3 pointers made, and he is now climbing the ladder in points total for all rookies. He currently ranks 3rd in total points scored, while in 8th place for PPG.

Fans are more anxious than ever to see what Coby can do in the starting lineup, especially after his performance in the past five games. White’s season stats are all being done with him coming off the bench.

He is currently averaging 12.6 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG.

If he gets the start for the rest of the season, there can be more insight for how effective and implemented he will be for the team down the road.

Boylen continues to stay stubborn though and doesn’t want to start the rookie. At this point in the season though, Boylen needs to change his mind and consider the long term benefits for this team.

With Kris Dunn our for the remainder of the season with an MCL injury, there is no better time for this change to happen.
The future is bright for this young stud, so Boylen needs to let him shine.
