The Chicago Bulls have a .500 record after 12 games of the 2022-23 NBA Season, with a 6-6 record.
Zach LaVine has missed a few games with a knee injury, and the team has performed better when he’s been in the lineup (5-3).
Lonzo Ball has also been out of the lineup to start the season as he deals with a lingering knee issue.
There’s no timetable for his return, but a healthy Ball does greatly improve this Bulls team that also includes DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic as part of its core.
Below I’ll look at the odds for some popular futures bets on the Bulls season.
If you’re a sports bettor in Chicago, you should be able to find similar odds at any USA betting sites.
To Win NBA Championship
The Bulls are 80-1 to win the NBA Championship
The Bulls are 80-1 long shots to win the NBA Title this season. These odds put them as the 18th favorites in the league, behind teams like the Toronto Raptors (33-1), Minnesota Timberwolves (45-1), and LA Lakers (66-1).
Based on these odds, Chicago is not expected to make a deep run this postseason, but if the team gets fully healthy at the right time, the Bulls do have potential.
To Win Central Division
The Bulls are 16-1 to win the Central Division

The Bulls are in the Central Division, which includes the NBA Championship favorite Milwaukee Bucks, who have started the season with a 9-1 record.
Add in the upstart Cleveland Cavaliers, who have had a hot 8-2 start to the season, and I don’t think there’s much chance of the Bulls finishing atop the division, especially with Lonzo Ball sidelined indefinitely.
Total Wins Over/Under
Bulls Over 42.5 wins +105
Bulls Under 42.5 wins -135
Chicago finished with 46 wins last year, but that included a hot start that had the Bulls sitting atop the Eastern Conference with a 39-21 record after 60 games.
I think 42.5 is a fair total for the Bulls, but I would lean slightly to the under, as the odds indicate above.
To Make Playoffs
The Bulls are -135 to make playoffs
The Bulls are +105 to miss playoffs
It’s important to note that the play-in tournament does not qualify as the playoffs for this bet. If the Bulls finish in the 7th to 10th position, which I think is fairly likely, they would have to win their play-in game(s) to qualify for the playoffs.
Again, I think these odds are fairly accurate in reflecting the likelihood of the Bulls playing in the postseason this year.
