Zach LaVine Remains a Bull
The Chicago Bulls are just one of two NBA teams that did not make an in-season trade this season. The other team is the Clevland Cavaliers, which acquired Donovan Mitchell in the offseason. The Chicago Bulls reportedly continued to take offers on LaVine as the NBA’s trade deadline approached. Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reported that the Bulls were in talks with the New York Knicks on a Zach LaVine deal. However, no agreement was finalized as the NBA’s trade deadline struck at 2 PM (CT). Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas has preached continuity since the offseason. Karnisovas will address the media at 4:45 PM (CT).
LaVine has had a rocky season averaging 23.6 points per game on 46.4%. LaVine has had stretches where he looked to be in all-star form but also times where he has struggled to find a rhythm. Zach LaVine will remain a Bull for now as the Bulls look to end the season on a strong push.
