The Chicago Bulls had won 3 road games in a row against the Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, and the Golden State Warriors until falling short against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Bulls led against the Clippers at halftime, but Los Angeles would storm back into the game and never gave the Bulls the chance to come back in the 2nd half. However, Bulls fans mainly were optimistic after the West Coast trip until Monday night’s loss. Until the Chicago Bulls suffered an embarrassing home loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks routed the Bulls in a 127-92 victory. The Bulls were building momentum as they returned home after ending a West Coast trip with a 3-1 record. Unfortunately, this loss crumbles all the momentum that the team has built.

On the bright side, for the Bulls, Ayo Dosunmu and Onurlap Bitim have proven to be valuable role players. The former is already outplaying the 3-year, 21-million-dollar contract he signed with the Bulls last offseason. The latter has contributed valuable bench minutes and a consistent shooting presence on the perimeter. Dosunmu is one of the steals of the 2021 NBA draft class. The Bulls were able to draft Chicago’s own with the 38th selection. Ayo has developed into a player that you can rely on nighty. Bitim has much to prove but is off to a solid start in his Bulls career.

The Chicago Bulls will head to Indiana on Wednesday night and return to Chicago on Thursday night, beginning a 3-game home stand. The Bulls will start their homestand with a rematch against the Clippers. A win over the Clippers would be a statement victory for the Bulls as the season heads toward the final stretch.
